Stratford Road
Two
people’s lives collide on a single day. One is a thirteen year-old muslim girl, who
has stolen a gun – the other, a grieving white father, who has lost his teenaged
daughter. Over the course of their day, both David and Shahida come to realise that there
may be an unsettling reason for their meeting…
Stratford Road is a drama thriller with a ghostly edge written by Helen Cross (My Summer of Love). Executive Producer is Kevin Loader (Brideshead Revisited, The History Boys, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin).

Magic Hour
A drama
with a black comic heart, Magic Hour follows the sexual adventures of 28 year-old Alex
Taylor and his corrosive best friends Ed and Milo – as they search for purpose and
clarity against a drug hazed city backdrop of offices, parties and clubs.
Magic Hour is written and will be directed by Sean Spencer (Romance, Four Little Letters, Stripes).

Red Room
Films completed writer/director Sean Spencer’s UKFC ‘Digital Extreme’
short film, Romance in 2007. This was funded by ScreenWM and the UKFC New Cinema Fund and
was represented at festivals abroad by The British Council. The film was screened at the
Edinburgh International Film Festival 2007 (UK), the ‘Rushes’ Soho Short Film
Festival 2007 (UK), the Wine Country Film Festival 2007 (USA) and the Clermont Ferrand
Film Market (Fr). It was broadcast on Propeller TV on 18th April 2008 as part of the Film
First Premiere programme.

Hearing Things : Short Film
Hearing Things was made just before Red Room Films incorporated, under the
company name ‘Fat Cat Productions’. It was written and directed by Claire
Ingham and produced by Claire Ingham and Satvinder Johal. The film was screened at The
Stratford-Upon Avon Film Festival 2005 (UK), the Cannes Film Market 2005 (Fr), Moondance
Festival 2006 (USA), Birmingham ArtsFest 2006 (UK), Wolverhampton Film Festival 2006
(UK), Rapid Eye Movement 2006, Moondance ‘Best of the Festivals
Retrospective’ 2007 (USA). It was broadcast on The Performance Channel on 7th
November 2006 – and bought for distribution in the US shortly afterwards.
